Sony Ericsson brings first touchscreen walkman phone Yendo


Bangalore: Here is a first in the mobile phone arena. Sony Ericsson has come up with Yendo, the first full touch walkman phone. Even though the availability and pricing details are not disclosed yet, the unique feature of the phone has heightened curiosity among consumers. Sony, which is renowned for its music delivery with acoustic sound clarity, adds one more feather to its cap by launching the Yendo which also comes with other appealing features than merely packing in the walkman. The Yendo also benefits from innovative four corner touch UI and is capable of beating the music pulse of its users. The device comes in a range of vibrant colors like, black, blue, green, orange, pink, purple, red, silver, yellow and white. Other attributes of the phone include a 2MP camera and 4X digital zoom, FM radio, 16GB expandable memory and a 2.6 inch display. Its connectivity features include a 3.5mm stereo jack, Bluetooth, and micro USB connector. The device also includes MediaGo feature which enables music transfer from a PC to the phone. In order to help users access their favorite songs quickly, the phone comes with touch walkman player, touch TrackID and PlayNow features. The phone allows you to browse the web, chat or email and also access social networking sites such as Facebook, Orkut or Twitter. Also packed in are apps like Brick Breaker Rev, Java and Night Club Fever.
