Bangalore: Smartphones are set to control everything around you; the only relief is you are the controller. The new Panasonic SR-SX102 rice cookers are clocked with FeliCa (contactless RFID technology developed by Sony Corporation) which makes your smartphones talk to your rice cooker.
To make you phone have a chat with your rice cooker and decide on what type of rice you should have today just hover it over the designated area on the cooker and all of a sudden your smartphone becomes a remote control for your cooker. Smartphones do stuffs which we never imagined before and it’s cool to tab an icon on your smartphone rather than working on the actual device.
More than controlling your cooker, the app also allows you to access Japanese Panasonic Cooking cloud server letting you to download and save up to 100 recipes. No idea whether these 100 recipes are actually needed for you, but it is quite amazing to see how technology is adding more flavors in our living.
