Smartphone by Huawei hits Indian market on July 29


Bangalore: Indian markets will see Huawei release its Android based smartphone on July 29. The smartphone is lined up to be an entry level device with a 2.8 inch touchscreen, 3.2 MP camera and HSDPA 3G connectivity. The Chinese equipment manufacturer showcased the HSPA smartphone U8800 at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The phone will be commercially available in the third quarter of 2010. The smartphone will be able to support high speed internet access and boasts of being faster than existing 3G smartphones. There has been no news about the pricing of the phone.
