Samsung's Latest Galaxy Core 2 Got Unbelievable Price Cut


BANGALORE: Samsung has officially cut the price of Galaxy Core 2 to 8,007. The smartphone is now sold on Samsung India's online store at the new price, reports Times of India. The Galaxy Core 2 was initially launched in July, at 11,900. The company will now be selling the Core 2 at INR 7,990, down from the launch price of INR 11,990, said Mumbai-based smartphone retailer, Mahesh Telecom.

The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 supports dual-SIM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It comes with a 4.5-inch, that is 480x800 pixels, display.

It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 768MB RAM.  The Galaxy Core 2 sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and VGA 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 4GB internal storage and supports microSD cards of up to 64GB.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, and 2G and 3G. The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 is powered by a 2000mAh battery and is available in two colors—black and white. The handset measures 130.3x68x9.8mm and weighs about 138 grams.
