Samsung's Galaxy Alpha Set To Launch In India


BANGALORE: The Korean Smartphone manufacturer, Samsung is expected to expand its smartphone range in India with a new phone launch called ‘Galaxy Alpha’. The company has started sending out invites for the event described as the unveiling of the ‘Next generation Style phone’, as reported by the NDTV gadgets.

Apparently, the Galaxy Alpha is the first smartphone with a metal frame and boasts of good specs in it too. The smartphone packs in a 4.7-inch super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. On the hardware front, it is powered by an Exynos 5 Octa processor clocking a speed of 1.8GHz quad-core Cortex A51 + 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 coupled with a 2GB of RAM. The camera on the phone features a 12-megapixel rear camera, and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing snapper. The device comes with 32GB of internal storage which is non expandable and is powered by a 1,860mAh battery.

On the connectivity side, the smartphone includes a Micro-USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, and NFC. The phone is to be available in different colors like Charcoal black, Dazzling white, Frosted gold, Silver and Scuba Blue and the pricing details of the phone is not known too.
