Samsung launches Galaxy S II in India


New Delhi: Samsung unveils its highly awaited new Samsung Galaxy S II in India. The announcement came in the much euphoria oriented Samsung South West Asia Forum in New Delhi. After having received many accolades in Barcelona where it was unveiled for the first time, it is finally ready to enter the Indian market. This Samsung phone with 2.3 Gingerbread android sports a gorilla glass display with dual cord. The dimension is 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm with Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors. The display features TouchWiz UI v4.0 and Multi-touch input method. The handset displays a memory capacity up to 32GB. It facilitates GPRS with 32 - 48 kbps, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth v3.0+HS. The most staggering feature of Samsung S II is that the camera offers 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash. The features offered by this Samsung S II is very alluring and expected to pose tough competition to its competitors.
