Samsung Unveils Dual-SIM GSM Only Galaxy Ace Duos

Bangalore: Samsung launched its latest dual-SIM smartphone – Galaxy Ace Duos worldwide. This smartphone is an upgraded version of Galaxy Ace Duos i589, this upgraded version brings dual-SIM functionality - both for GSM network, and where as the older version was GSM + CDMA.

The smartphone is powered with 832 MHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It sports 3.5 inch HVGA 320x480 pixel LCD touchscreen, 5 MP autofocus camera, 3 GB internal memory and a microSD card slot for expendable memory up to 32 GB. For connectivity it supports 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0.

The smartphone comes with Samsung’s ‘Dual SIM Always On’ feature, which automatically forwards calls from SIM 2 to the SIM 1 when the user is talking on SIM 1.

The company has not yet revealed this smartphone’s price, but TOI has mentioned the price as 13,490. The older version – Galaxy Ace Duos i589 is available in India for 13,900.
