Samsung Shows Windows 8 Running Tablets

Bangalore: Samsung officially announced the latest addition to the Series 5 Hybrid PC and Series 7 Hybrid PC in Taipei Computex Show 2012. According to Samsung both the devices sports 11.6 inch touchscreen and other specifications are not available as they are in development stage.

The company claims that the Series 7 Hybrid PC is powerful than the Series 5 Hybrid PC and both will run on Windows 8 operating system. The magnetic docking keyboard allows the series 5 Hybrid to act as a traditional clamshell laptop. Well the keyboard unit doesn’t need any additional battery, it works using the tablet’s battery power.

Samsung has also included the S-Pen and S-Memo technology for the Series 5 Hybrid as these techs were used in the Galaxy Note.

The Computex Show 2012 in Taipei is fully geared with Windows 8 running products, while Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system is not yet out in the market. But seeing all these new devices which run on Microsoft’s new OS it’s for sure that Window 8 will be available by the end of this year.
