Samsung Rolls Out Jelly Bean Update for Galaxy S III

Bangalore: When Google unveiled its latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System, Samsung had promised that a lot of their devices would see the upgrade from Ice Cream Sandwich operating system very soon. Samsung had said that their flagship smartphone Galaxy S III would see the update by the month of October 2012.

October hasn’t even begun and a lot of countries have already started receiving the updates for Galaxy S III. Countries like Poland, Siberia, Macedonia have already started enjoying this upgrade.

Now the Galaxy S III would include features like Android’s new Voice Search capabilities, Google Now, enhanced notifications and resizable pop up play menu along with some other updates.

In order to update your Ice Cream Sandwich to Jelly Bean you can either use KIED or OTA (Over-The-Air). But while doing so make sure that you are operating on Wi-Fi and you have at least 50 percent of battery.

So far the update has gone live in the European markets, so we can expect the upgrade to hit the Indian markets in a few weeks time.
