Samsung Projector Smartphone Galaxy Beam Hits Indian Stores

Bangalore: Samsung announced the launch of Samsung Galaxy Beam projector smartphone in India. The smartphone will enable the users to display and share multimedia content anywhere on a large luminous projector screen or on a clear wall (surface).

Based on the Android 2.3 OS platform, Galaxy Beam enables the users to share their multimedia (including photos, video clips, maps, business information, and games) and other digital media content with their family or friends by beaming it directly onto walls, ceilings or improvised flat surfaces. Galaxy Beam’s ultra-bright 15 lumens projector and high-definition projection up to 50’’ wide at a distance of 2 meter, allows users to freely share their memorable moments instantly with crisp clarity. The 5 mega pixel camera enables users to capture and share pictures and videos with loved ones instantly, enriching the sharing experience.

Despite featuring a full built-in projector, the Galaxy Beam does not compromise on style or portability, measuring just 12.5mm thick and featuring an elegant, ergonomic design. The Galaxy Beam is powered by an impressive 1.0GHz dual-core processor, ensuring great versatility and a highly responsive user interface. An impressive and abundant 8GB of internal memory (Plus 32 GB expandable memory) allows ample multimedia storage without compromises, and a pack of 2 powerful 2000 mAh battery ensures greater display power and content freedom.

The Galaxy Beam comes with specialized applications like the Ambience feature for various mood experiences and a drawing tool for presentations. It enables the presenter to easily bring the viewers’ attention without a laser printer. Priced at 33,900, the device is available exclusively at all Samsung Smartphone Cafes.
