Samsung Note 10.1 to be Unveiled on August 15th!
Bangalore: The gadget world was flooded with rumors regarding the release of the Galaxy Note 10.1 from Samsung. There was nothing concrete about these rumors though. Now there is some glimmer that the Galaxy Note 10.1 might just come out on August 15th 2012. Samsung sent out a media invite with pictures of a device which looked like the table with its stylus pen.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 as it says in the name will have a 10.1-inch touch screen with comes with a stylus pen. The tablet is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual core processor. The Note operates on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It also comes with 3G facilities.
The tablet has 2 GB RAM and it comes with internal memory of 16 GB. It has a slot for the microSD card which would enable the user to increase the memory up to 32 GB. The Note also has a 5 mega pixel rear camera which is capable of recording a 720 pixel video and it also has a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. it is EDGE and GPRS enabled as well.
The tablet comes with a price tag of approximately 
35,000.
The tablet comes with a feature called ‘S Note’ that allows the user to combine notes and sketches along with the web content, images and other digital media and make a story board. This feature also comes with some built in ready to use templates like recipes, meeting minutes, cards, diary and magazines. The Stylus Pen has a detailed pressure sensitivity feature which allows the user with more accuracy and control when editing or writing. Writing with this S Pen allows the user more neatness and accuracy.
If you are a student, the tablet has some exciting features for you as well. Sitting in a classroom and attending might just become a thing of the past. It allows you to take down notes and simultaneously read up on more information related to the topic. There is also an option called Formula Match, this allows the student to get the correct formulas which are hand drawn with the S Pen. The tablet also has Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Ideas installed in it.
The Note and the S pen is extremely user friendly and easy to master.
Well along with the Note 10.1 there is news that Samsung will be ready to release the Galaxy Note 2 as well towards the end of August. One can’t help and wonder if the double release from Samsung was done on purpose to take away some of the limelight around the release of Apple’s iPhone 5 which is slated to be unveiled on 9th September 2012.
