Samsung Launches 4.3 Inch Galaxy S4 Mini

Bangalore: The predictions and rumors about a younger sibling of world’s most sophisticated Smartphone- Samsung Galaxy S4 finally came true as the south Korean manufacturer unveiled Galaxy S4 Mini, a device with a 4.3" qHD Super AMOLED display unlike the S4’s 5 inch one.

The phone comes with many features like its elder brother. However, it packs much less in the power train. Unlike the quad and octa-core variants of S$, Mini has only a 1.7GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB RAM. The 8 GB inbuilt storage is expandable like any other Samsung Smartphones. It has an 8 MP rear camera along with sound shot, a feature pushed by Samsung in its flagship. A 1.9 MP front camera also assists in video calls.

At 107 g, the Mini measures 23 grams less than the full fledged S4. According to GSMArena, Samsung will display the phone to public at a planned June 20 event. The pricing and availability will also be revealed at the event.

Meanwhile, Galaxy S4, which was released a month ago, has already crossed sales of over 10 million according to the company. With the introduction of this Mini version, Samsung is set to capure the market in 3 tier countries.
