Samsung Galaxy Tab S: Hands-On Review

BANGALORE:  Do you really think Apple iPad has the best display on a tablet? Looks like you will reconsider it after looking at the new series of tabs launched by Samsung, the new Galaxy tab S comes with Super AMOLED display giving it an edge over the other tabs in the range. That’s not all; there are other features in the tab which gives it the bragging rights in the gadget world. So, let’s find out the reasons behind its big talk by previewing its specs and its advancements over its competitors.

Firstly, let’s talk about its design; it comes with a super slim body which measures only about 6.6 mm of thickness and is extremely light weight. With this new thin structure, the Tab beats out Apple iPad Air at 7.5mm, and is a delight to be held in the hands. Everything on the new Samsung Tab S seems organized than the previous versions which can easily be differentiated by the gold line running around the edges of the tab. Also the tablet comes in two colors- white and titanium bronze. All the physical buttons- the power button, the volume controls are a delight to use and the back panel with the perforated design pattern resembles Samsung’s flagship phone, the Galaxy S5. With its fresh looks and completely new form factor, Samsung has really nailed it on the body design this time.
