Samsung Galaxy S6 Gets A Price Slash, Now Costs Under 40,000




BANGALORE: The Samsung flagship Smartphone of this year, Galaxy S6, that was launched three months ago gets a price cut and now costs under 40,000, reports TOI.

The 32 GB Galaxy S6 variant entered the market with a price tag of 49,990. The altered price of the flagship handset is now priced at 38,999. For the first time the price of this very Smartphone dropped below 40,000, earlier few weeks it had steady price around 42,000.

However, the sibling of Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, is still priced over 50,000. The story of price slash is also seen in Apple’s flagship handsets. The 16 GB variant iPhone 6 costs around 43,000 whereas, 16 GB iPhone 6 Plus is priced above 50,000.

The two flagship Smartphones from Samsung are the literal top-notch devices available in the market. As the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge sports DDR4 RAM, that is 80 percent faster than DDR3 RAM which was seen  Galaxy S5–the company’s last year flagship handset.

The absence of microSD storage option disappointed the consumers, but the company makes it up by delivering 32 and 64GB storage variants to their customers. The display of these flagship devices are the best in the world with high pixel density.

First time in the Galaxy S series Samsung rolled out non-removable backs. The two Smartphones offer new technology of fast –charging as well as wireless charging. The battery of these flagship devices can last for 4 hours with just 10 minutes charging. To add more, it requires half as long as iPhone 6 to charge from 0 to 100percent.
