Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ 32 GB Launched at 57,900


sdBENGALURU: Samsung has launched one of the most awaited devices of the year, the Galaxy S6 Edge+. The company had launched the Galaxy S6 Edge+ last week during the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event along with the Galaxy Note 5 in New York. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has not yet been in launched in India, according to indianexpress.com.

According to the recent reports, the Galaxy Note 5 is likely to be launched here soon. The 32GB variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge+ has been priced at 57, 900 while the 64GB variant is yet to be launched. The Smartphone will go on sale on August 28, while pre-orders open from Wednesday. The device is available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, and Silver Titanium color variants.

In terms of specs, the phone features a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440p) Super AMOLED display with a dual edge screen with extended curved displays on its edges. Galaxy S6 edge+ is powered by a Samsung Exynos octa core Exynos 7420 64 bit chip processor (2.1GHz Quad + 1.5GHz Quad) and comes with a whopping 4GB RAM (LPDDR4). Also the new Galaxy s6 edge+ does not support microSD card slot.

The device sports a 16MP rear camera with OIS along with a 5MP front facing camera with Android’s Latest OS 5.1 Lollipop. Samsung will also be providing 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage for free. In terms of connectivity though, the Smartphone includes 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0 and all this is backed up with a mammoth 3000mAh non-removable battery.
