BANGALORE: Galaxy S5 is the latest flagship Smartphone from the South Korean electronics giant Samsung. The device was initially unveiled on February 24, 2014 during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and it was recently released on 11 April 2014. Galaxy S5 is an improved version of its siblings, keeping a particular emphasis on refined user experience, enhanced build quality, dust and water resistance, updated camera and security measures like fingerprint scanner. Design

Samsung Galaxy S5 is made up of plastic excluding the spotted leatherette back. The device has adopted the plastic construction and body from its siblings Galaxy S4 and S3, and the rear side has changed from shiny plastic to a vinyl –like back cover. S5 weighs in at 145g, making it heavier, thicker and larger than Galaxy S4. The edge of this handset has the similar silver accents that we can see in its previous generations. The device has very wide viewing angles, and is sharp and vibrant and very close in quality to that of high-end LCD display of HTC One M8 and iPhone S5. As with its predecessor, Galaxy S5 includes physical buttons to complement the touch screen. You can see the home button still intact and it also serve as fingerprint scanner. It also include volume tracker and on/off button. Samsung Galaxy S5 is available in four different shades, Shimmery White, Charcoal Black, Copper Gold and Electric Blue.
