Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Goes Up For Preorders At

Bangalore: Samsung has started taking preorders for the Mini version of its flagship Galaxy S4 in the country, starting at a price of 
27,990. The device has made appearance in company’s official online store with the availability date mentioned as July 18th.
The ripped down device from Galaxy S4 include a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. Instead of the 5 inch scree of its elder sibling, S4 Mini hosts a 4.3-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) Super AMOLED display, at a pixel density of 256ppi. The internal storage is limited to 8 GB, which can further be expanded with MicroSD card. The device will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung's TouchWiz interface on top.
The camera in Galaxy S4 Mini was also chopped down to 8 MP from 13 MP. The device also sports a 1.9-megapixel HD camera on the front. The dual SIM Galaxy S4 mini, which is available in White Frost and Black Mist colours is taking power from a 1,900mAh battery.
