Samsung Galaxy S II Plus Arrives With Advanced Features

Bangalore: Samsung had unveiled the successor to Galaxy SII, the Galaxy SII Plus at the CES tradeshow last week. The device comes in a modernized design, runs the latest Android OS (4.1.2 Jelly Bean) and a new 1.2GHz processor. The Galaxy SII Plus boasts a 4.3-inch WVGA (480x800) Super AMOLED plus display. The plasticky back panel has changed the outlook of this phone from its predecessor Galaxy S II plus.

The phone has an 8MP rear and 2MP front camera with LED flash and has the capability to record full-HD Video. A dual-core Cortex-A9 processor powers the phone along with a Broadcomm GPU and has 1GB RAM. The device comes with an internal storage space of 8GB which can be expanded up to 64GB.

Connectivity includes the dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0+HS and 3G with 21Mbps HSPA+. NFC is optional on the device. The NFC-enabled model I9105P is slightly thicker than the general S II Plus model. Battery power remains same at 1,650mAh although the device counts 5gms more than its predecessor.

S II Plus arrives with a wide range of loaded apps like ChatOn messenger, AllShare Play, Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Popup Video, S-Voice and S Beam. This phone offers all the benefits of Samsung Hubs, including the latest versions of Readers Hub, Video Hub, Game Hub and Music Hub to the users. This gadget will be available in Dark Blue and Chic White colours though the pricing and availability of this phone is not yet revealed.
