Samsung’s Galaxy Alpha is the most stylish smartphone the company has made till now. If you look at the changes on the phone from its similar design styles on the previous Galaxy phones, the company has given the Alpha a metal frame with a neat finish. The phone is also sturdy and fits well in hands with no much weight on it. The back cover of Alpha is still made of plastic, but it doesn’t feel cheap like the other Galaxy phones.

On the other hand, the Xperia Z3 Compact is not easy competitor; Sony has continued to use the same design with the glass back cover with a clean and ‘straight lines look’ that the company had introduced with the original Xperia Z. Its appealing looks with the well made construction makes this phone a stunner and the only disappointing part lies with the plastic frame. It lacks the luster and the solid finish like the metal frame on the Sony Z3.

When talked about the looks and usability, the design of the Alpha wins more smiles than the Z3 compact. It feels better and lighter in hands with a better grip on it. The Z3 Compact feels a little big compared to the Alpha and tends to be more slippery due to the glass back cover. But the Z3 Compact comes with a water and dust proof body.
