Samsung Galaxy A Series Launched with Stylish New A7 & A5



BENGALURU: After the success of Samsung galaxy A7 and A5 smartphones, Samsung launched new version of Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7 2016 in Samsung Forum Event at Kaula Lampur. Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 2016 edition smartphones costs Rs 29,400 and Rs 33,400 respectively and will be available on Snapdeal as well retail stores starting February 15. Samsung has also partnered with Airtel to offer consumers up to 30GB free data plan for 6 months. Samsung also announced launch Samsung galaxy A3 (2016) with extraordinary features soon in India.

The 2016 edition Galaxy A5 and A7 4G smartphones comes with a similar spec sheet with major differences in display size: 5.2-inch for the A5 and 5.5-inch for the A7. Galaxy A7 comes with 3GB RAM, while A5 has 2GB RAM. Featuring a known metal and glass body, the devices will be available in Black, Gold and White colour options and offer a fingerprint scanner.

On the connectivity front, the smartphones offer 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and packs a 3,300mAh battery on the A7 and a 2,900 mAh battery on the A5 2016. Galaxy A5 measures 144.8x71.0x7.3mm and weighs 155 gram while Galaxy A7 measure 151.5x74.1x7.3mm and weighs 172 grams. Both Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) powered by an octa-core Exynos processor and run on Android 5.1 Lollipop, equally both the smartphones features a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, OIS and a 5MP front camera with 16GB internal storage and support for up to 128GB microSD cards.

The new version of android brings Google's Material Design mantra along with better eye-catching UI animations, multi-user login and new notification controls. Both smartphones come with a Super AMOLED Full HD resolution display and support fast charging and 4G connectivity in India.
