S5 mini To Be Water Proof

Bangalore: Samsung New Zealand revealed that it will be releasing its Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will be waterproof and dustproof. The warranty is excluded if the phone is submerged deep in water for more than 30 minutes, which is similar to the warranty offered by the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and Samsung Galaxy S5

The Galaxy S5 is said to be certified by IP67 for being water proof and dust resistant. According to the IP67 certification, the phone can be submerged in up to a meter deep in water and for a maximum of 30 minutes.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will have 4.5 inch 720p resolution with an AMOLED display. The phone will have a Quad core Snapdragon 400 processor, a 1.5 GB RAM, and an internal storage of 16 GB. The Galaxy S5 also has an 8MP primary and a 2MP secondary camera and will run on Android Kit Kat 4.4.2 OS.
