Reliance Launches Coolpad D530 Smartphone


Bangalore: The joint-venture of Reliance Communications and Hong-Kong listed China Wireless Technologies, launched a 3.5 inch, Android Eclair (2.1) based CDMA smartphone , D530, in Kolkata, and will subsequently appear across the country. The D530 is Coolpad's first CDMA only Android Eclair handset being introduced in the country. The phone will offer CDMA at a high speed of 3.1 Mbps, and a 3.5 inch touchscreen. It is powered by a 600 Mhz TI OMAP 3630 processor, with a 480 x 320 pixel resolution and a 2 mega pixel camera with WiFi and Bluetooth. Reliance Coolpad D530 has a 256 MB RAM. The memory of the phone can be expanded up to 32 GB, but RCom website limits this upgradeability to only up to 4 GB. Coolpad D530 can even act as a WiFi Router. This is a great feature and can come in very handy at times. It also has features like Video player, Music player and recorder. The phone is powered by a 1280 mAh Lithium ion battery, it is priced at 7999 with Reliance Communications promising 100 percent value back with discounted tariffs. This is a good option for all the people who want to have an android phone.
