Release Date And Expected Features Of Microsoft Lumia 840

BENGALURU: From smartphones to tablets, a combination of both offers bigger screens with realistic picture clarity and full HD movie with a wide display. Microsoft has not revealed the launch date of their upcoming smartphone, Lumia 840, as it is going through several tests in India. The device would accompany both single and dual SIMs, reports IBT

Zauba, a website which keeps a track of imports and exports in India, reported that two devices with 5.7-inch displays had not been allowed for internal testing in Delhi. Further reports state the devices were from Finland and estimated to be priced at 38,346.

NokiaPowerUser reported the expected smartphone will run on Windows 8.1 GDR2 operating system, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and a 5-inch display. A predictable 13-14 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera is being expected and rumoured to add to its character. It is expected to launch in October.
