Power Packed Moto Maxx to Herald in India


BANGALORE: It seems like Motorola is all geared up to launch its Moto Maxx, it is a high-end smartphone in the Indian market. Flipkart; the Motorola’s exclusive vender, has started flashing the glimpse of the phone through its social network accounts.

However, Flipkart has not officially named the phone in the teasers, it flashes the terms ‘turbocharged,’ ‘accelerated performance,’ and ‘nylon fairing’ hinting at the launch of Moto Maxx.

If we look at Moto Maxx features ballistic nylon, a durable material with a unique texture and rich colour. The phone is further more hard with a layer of DuPont Kevlar fiber, a material which is five times stronger than steel, beneath the nylon covering.

Moto Maxx is protected with water-repellent nano-coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Initially launched as Droid Turbo on US carrier Verizon Wirless, the Motorola Maxx; the international variant of the phone. Maxx comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, powered by a 2.7 GHz quad-core processor and a mighty 3GB of RAM to run all the apps without any lag.

On the storage side, it has in built 64GB of storage and offers no expansion. This a power pact phone, it packs humungous 3900mAh and features turbo-charging, that provides up to 8 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is expected to be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop or it may come updated to Lollipop.

Motorola Moto Maxx sports a 21MP of rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. While in terms of connectivity, the phone supports 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC like all the flagship phones do.
