Pantel Launched Android ICS Tablet for 4,999


Bangalore: One more tablet has joined the budget tablet wagon in the Indian market. Pantel has announced a new Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) running tablet ‘T-Pad IS701C’ in India for a price of 4,999.

Pantel T-Pad IS701C is powered by Cortex A8 1GHz processor, 512 MB DDR III RAM and works on new Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. The tablet features a 7-inch TFT LCD capacitive multi-touch screen having a resolution of 800X480 pixels. It sports a 0.3 MP front camera, an internal storage space of 4GB, which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card.

The tablet is Wi-Fi enabled and also supports 3G dongle for connectivity. The device has a USB 2.0 port, an additional micro USB port, a 720p HDMI port to accelerate the viewing experience and claims to give around 6 hours of battery life. The tablet come preloaded with useful apps like Facebook, Twitter, Angry Birds, and Skype for video.
