Panasonic gives 3D touch to camcorder


Bangalore: Panasonic has unveiled its plans to launch a 3D camcorder as the company's website has revealed. The HDC-SDT750 which looks more like a traditional camcorder but has a special conversion mount to introduce stereoscopic 3D. The product is not a brand new one but an existing high-end 3MOS model which will come with a 3D conversion lens attached. It will capture in 1080p AVCHD at 60 fps. The camcorder will feature Panasonic's proprietary Hybrid O.I.S image stabilization technology. Reports suggest that Panasonic may release the HDC-SDT750 - the world's first 3D shooting camcorder - on July 28 in Tokyo. The camcorder that will pack in a fast image processor and the 3D lens will be priced notably above its 2D equivalent.
