Onkyo Unveiled iOnly Series of Speakers

Bangalore: Onkyo has launched the iOnly series of speakers which is exclusively meant for Apple’s iPod, iPhone and iPad.  The company has introduced three models i.e. iOnly Play (ABX-100), iOnly Stream (ABX-N300), and iOnly Bass (SBX-300).Out of these three models, the iOnly Bass has received good appreciation from CNET.

iOnly Bass measures 17.7x6.9x5.2 inches, weights 7.7 pounds and seems quite classy with a black cloth speaker grilles, brushed-aluminum base, carry handle  and retractable dock. There is a LED display indicating volume & bass boost levels. The speaker is powered by 2 x 20 watt amplifier; it has two 4.2-inch drivers and comes with a remote control for Active Bass Control Circuit boost.

According to Onkyo website “The iOnly Bass includes engineering features found in Onkyo’s subwoofer range, two reflex woofer ducts in the rear add a layer of resonant bass. Low-frequency sound is further enhanced with the unit’s Super Bass booster system. Digital amplifier circuitry and a pair of full-range speakers ensure pristine playback of your music library”.

According to the dealers these speakers will arrive in India within a week and the exact price can be revealed only after that.
