Onida brings Movie TV to India

Bangalore: Onida has come up with a range of Movie TVs, the first of its kind in India, that include USB 2.0 which allows users to watch movies, photographs and listen to music directly from the USB port. The Movie TV range includes the models - ONIDA 21 Ace 300 USB, ONIDA 21 CARBON 300 USB, ONIDA 21 ARIA 350 USB and ONIDA 21 Thunder 1200 USB. The ONIDA 21 Ace 300 USB is available in markets at a price of 9190. There are many features in the Movie TV range like USB Playback, Music Mode, Surround Sound, ZAP or Timer Return, Digital Eye, Wrap Sound Technology. The Music Mode allows user to hear music without the picture being on. The Timer Return helps the user to skip ads while watching the TV. The Wrap Sound Technology comes with hidden speakers that enable wide range sound to spread across. Anand Ramadurai, GM, Marketing, ONIDA, said, "The expected growth rate of CTVs is positive and on a rise even with the end of the Football World Cup 2010. While the LCD prices have been dropping consistently over the last 18 months or so, the Ultra Slims TVs are growing fastest in the CTV space. We are expecting to almost double our contribution from this range in the current fiscal year."
