OnePlus 2 To Launch In Third Quarter; OnePlus One Price To Be Slashed

BANGALORE: If the reports are to be believed then the actual date of OnePlus 2 is still not confirmed, though there were rumors that made us to believe that it will be launched on June1, nothing of the sort is to happen. Digital Trends reports the talk with the OnePlus Chief says it all, the release date, the OS and as to the specs.

According to the Co-Founder Carl Pei, the latest flagship will be christened as“OnePlus 2” rather than “OnePlus Two”. The Smartphone will be released in the third quarter i.e. in July, August or September and the rumors surrounding June1 may involve a price cut for OnePlus One as well, but definitely not a new launch.

On the other hand, One other rumor that got most users in to believing is that the flagship will come with the Oxygen OS to India, but Carl Pei says that the Asian countries will be receiving the Hydrogen OS and the Oxygen OS will be out onlyEurope and the U.S.

OnePlus 2 which was initially touted to bring in a  4GB RAM keeping the present market in mind will only get a 3GB RAM.  The company will grab the invite system of OnePlus One and use it for OnePlus 2, but OnePlus promised that this time there will be more invites to chance your luck.

The Co-Founder is a little concerned of the fate of the latest flagship after launch, but with the affordable price-tag, specifications and the high-end factor, it clears the intimidation of its success.
