BANGALORE: A year ago OnePlus was just another Smartphone brand with products of its own, but now people are waiting eagerly for one update from the company regarding its new flagship. OnePlus One was the first one to be released in the market, which was an instant hit. Not only a hit but its record sales set the trademark of the company hailing it as the next big thing in the Smartphone industry, reports IBT.

Since the official reports from OnePlus as to its next flagship release OnePlus 2 was announced rumors are in a swing as to the specifications it will  be sporting, the OS it will be running on, the make it will be or the price or the release date.

If a poll is to be taken as to what is the most anticipated Smartphone of the year, OnePlus 2 is sure to top the list. People are eagerly waiting for its launch to lay their hands on the latest flagship from the company.

OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei earlier announced that OnePlus 2 will be launched in the third quarter of the year and next is a report from a Chinese publication which slated the release for July 2015.

Coming to the price, there is still discussion going on as to how much it will be priced. It will definitely be more than OnePlus One, the earlier flagship was priced between $322 and $403. The imminent price cut in OnePlus One is another indication of OnePlus 2’s release.
