Notion Ink launches Able 2-in-1


BENGALURU: Bangalore based tech firm Notion Ink, known for its Cain Table has launched a 2-in-1 dubbed Able 10 at an event in New Delhi.  The Notion Ink Able 2-in-1 is available exclusively through SnapDeal. Equipped with windows 10 Home edition, the device costs 24,990 rupees inclusive of all taxes. Able is packed with in-built 3G w/ Quad Band antennas and boasts a 10.1-inch IPS display of 1280x800 resolution. Powered by a quad core Intel Cherry Trail processor clubbed with 4GB RAM, it houses 64GB of in-built storage and supports microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.

Without compromising on the ‘port-able’-ity Notion Ink Able 10 features front and rear cameras with 2MP OmniVision sensors. It has USB 3.0 port, microUSB 2.0 port and micro HDMI slot. Able is preloaded with most of Microsoft’s offerings including Cortna and Xbox.

Notion Ink gained reputation as a trusted manufacturer after the success of its Cain range of Windows powered tablets. Serving as a power packed extension is the Cain Dock compatible with all Cain 10 variants (The other variant being Cain 8).However, its predecessor, the Adam range of tablets beset with controversy.

ProPen, A stylus is one of the company’s offering which can work seamlessly across all capacitive touch screens. The company also claims it is India’s first Active Stylus. Weighing at just 24 grams, it is backed with adjustable sensitivity, longer battery power, auto-sleep feature and generates its own capacitance to simulate a precision touch event on capacitive touch screens.
