Nokia New Dual-SIM Asha in the Market


Bangalore: Nokia seems to be on a roll with its Asha series. Just a few days ago they released dual SIM Asha 205 and 206. The launch of Nokia Asha 114 was a rather subdued one, with this handset appearing on Nokia’s Indian website.

This dual SIM phone comes with a 1.8 inch QVGA LCD screen along with a resolution of 160 X 128 pixels. The phone comes with an alphanumeric keypad which is extremely responsive and easy to type on. Asha 114 comes with 16 GB internal memory along with a slot for a microSD card which allows the users to expand the memory up to 32 GB. The phone weighs around 80 grams.

The handset comes with a 1,020 mAh battery which promises its users with 10 hours of talk time with a single charge. It also has a 0.3 mega pixel VGA camera with 4X zoom. Along with this the phone also comes with the option of “hot swap SIM functionality”. This means that the user can their change the SIM cards without having to switch off or restart the phone.

Along with this, there is additional good news for social networking addicts. The phone has shortcut keys on the Home Screen which provide the user with direct access to Facebook, Foursquare and Twitter.

As of now the tentative date for the launch of Asha 114 is the end of December 2012 and it would come with a price tag around 2,500.
