Bangalore: NajmTek is making an entry into the Laptop market with new dual-screen laptop U-Book (Universal Netbook). The company is planning to launch the U-Book at CES 2012 (Consumer Electronics Show) in January.
Last year Acer launched the first dual-screen netbook ‘Acer Iconia netbook’ which replaced the physical keyboard with a second touchscreen display. Like Acer Iconia, NajmTek also used the second touchscreen display to replace the traditional keyboard.
NajmTek is focusing on multilingual users with U-Book where it can support variety of keyboard layouts and different languages. This U-Book allows users to customize the keyboard layout as per the user’s need. The users will be able to design their own keyboard layout as per their requirement for specialized needs like video editing or using 3D, graphics or designing software.
NajmTek has not yet provided any details about the specifications, availability and price of their U-Book.
