Motorola Launches Pocket Friendly Smartphones


Bangalore: Motorola has announced two new smartphones, Motoluxe and Defy Mini. These two devices run on Android Gingerbread delivering a solid smartphone experience.

The Motoluxe features 4 inch FWVGA (Full Wide Video Graphics Array) edge to edge display with Moto switch user interface and 480x854 pixels of resolution, 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, front facing VGA camera. The device is powered by 800 MHz single core Scorpion processor, 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread. It also features Wi-Fi, GPS, HSDPA, Bluetooth, micro USB and 3.5 mm audio jack for connectivity. It has sensors like accelerometer, proximity and compass.

Motorola Defy Mini looks like the follow up of original Defy with smaller display. It comes with 3.2" HVGA display with Gorilla Glass. The device is powered by 600 MHz processor, 512 MB RAM and runs on Android Gingerbread. This device also offers dust proof, water resistant, scratch resistant capabilities as the original Defy model. It has a 3 MP camera and front facing VGA camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, Bluetooth, GPS and DLAN.

Motorola will offer these two smartphones for Android lovers with affordable price. However the price details are not at disclosed but the company will confirm the price and availability of these smartphones after CES 2012.
