Moto G4 Rolls Out in India: Exclusively Available for Sale on Amazon


BENGALURU: Motorola launched Moto G4 in Indian market at the price of 12,499. The company designed the smartphone with some astonishing features and in accordance with the market needs of India. As reported by The Indian Express website, the handdset is available for sale only on e-commerce website Amazon. This is Motorola’s second midrange smartphone after the launch of Moto G4 Plus that was unveiled last month at a starting price of 13,499.

Moto G4 features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 built with a 5.5-inch 1080 display. A powerful Snapdragon 617 Octa-Core processor makes the phone faster than ever. It has internal storage of 16 GB and 2 GB RAM. The device is powered with a turbo charging supported battery of 3000 mAh. The company promises a power backup of six hours after charging it for just 15 minutes. It works on Android 6 (Marshmallow) operating system and has a 5 MP front camera with F2.2 lens and a 13 MP rear camera with F2.0 lens and dual-tone flash. The phone lacks the fingerprint scanner, which differentiates it from Moto G4 plus. It weighs about 155 grams with an evenly distributed weight that makes it lighter than other variants.

The company had earlier made an announcement regarding this smartphone during the launch of the Moto G4 Plus that is already available on Amazon for sale in India. By going through the price range of Moto G4, it will compete in the market with the likes of Yu Yunicorn, Honor 5X, Redmi Note 3 and LeEco Le2.
