Moto G Permanently Going Out Of Stock From India

BANGALORE: Grab Motorola Moto G smartphone before it is gone! This was a tagline posted on the Flipkart site. So, if you are one among those planning to buy this phone, then, don’t waste your time and grab it at the earliest. The online retailer Flipkart has declared to stop on the further sales of this smartphone variant in India, reports Ravi Sharma of TOI Tech.

According to a statement posted by the online firm on its website, presently only the 16GB version of MotoG is available in India, and Motorola and Flipkart will not restock the range once the smartphones run out of stock.

Just a month ago, the 8GB model went out of stock soon after the manufacturer cut the prices of both variants of Moto G by 2,000 in July.

With 16GB variant of Moto G permanently going out of stock in Flipkart, it virtually means the end of Moto G's run in India. As, this online retailer is the exclusive seller for the smartphone range in the country.

It was in February this year when Motorola launched the much-awaited Moto G is at 12,499 for 8 GB version and 13,999 for the 16 GB variant.

On the other hand, of-late Moto G has been facing tough competition from two new entrants like Xiaomi Mi 3 and Asus Zenfone 5 in the Indian smartphone market.
