Most Of The iPhone Owners Are Not Aware Of Battery Replacement

BENGALURU: The recent study by Batteries Plus Bulb (BPB) shows that 61 percent of the American iPhone users are unaware of the fact that, iPhone’s battery can be replaced. Batteries Plus Bulbs, a repair franchise, conducted a survey among 1000 of its customers, from which it learned about the outcome, as reported by Business Insider.

The survey also revealed that 56 percent of BPBcustomers consider their phone to be ‘broke,’ if it delivers a poor battery life. Consequently it proves that a considerable part of Smartphone users, want their phones to be fixed but don’t know how. Considering battery life as a major issue, Apple released a new iOS 9 low power mode, which will consume less battery power, as per the usage of the phone.

Despite the fact that BPB is undoubtedly trying to draw iPhone users towards its service centers, Apple's replacement service could be much cheaper. The out-of-warranty battery service cost for all iPhone is $79 at the Apple Store.

The study did not come up only with the significant data about iPhone users, but also gave out surprising results on how Americans either loose or damage their smartphone. As per the survey 25 percent surveyed customers, threw away their phones in frustration, 20 percent of the customers dropped it in toilets and a notable 25 percent of the customers were so drunk that, they don’t even remember how they lost or damaged their phones.

The statistics were first reported by the The Wall Street Journal's Christopher Mims followed by "Buy $APPL."
