With a recent development, Opera has made its grand reentry into the market with a new deal with Microsoft. Opera Software has acquired a licensing agreement with Microsoft, which will see Opera become the default browser for all phones on Microsoft’s Nokia Series 30+, Series 40 and Asha handsets, reports Reuters.

"We have signed a strategic licensing deal with Microsoft. We are basically taking over the browser building department in Nokia," said Opera Chief Executive Lars Boilsesen.

With this deal, the current browser of the mentioned phones will be getting an option to upgrade to the latest Opera browser and the new handsets will have pre-installed Opera Mini browser.

“This is a great opportunity to spread the benefits of Opera Mini to millions more consumers in our core markets. There are still massive numbers of people who have not moved to SmartPhones, but Opera Mini can provide them with an amazing browsing experience right now,” added Boilesen, reports The Next Web.
