Microsoft Lumia 640 And Lumia 640 XL Now Available In India




BANGALORE: Microsoft’s two new devices – Lumia 640 and Lumia 640XL are available in Indian Market from this week. Lumia 640 and Lumia 640XL will have a price tag of 11,999 and 15,799 respectively. Lumia 640XL, a phablet, will be retailed normally at your nearest store but, Lumia 640 will be available only with the online retailer Flipkart, reports ET.

The marketing director of Microsoft Mobiles Devices India, Raghuvesh Sarup, said that the company will launch some more devices, and market exclusively online in the future. But, he didn’t disclose the number or types of handsets that are going to hit the online stores.

These two Smartphones were introduced in Mobile World Congress at Barcelona in March, 2015. The new improved effective battery consumption technology allows the device to last 35 days on standby with single charge.

Both phones come in with LTE 4G enabled dual-SIM support for connectivity. The Windows Phone 8.1 OS will be updated to Windows 10, which is expected to be much more powerful and responsive than the existing OS.

The exclusive offers for people, who are planning to purchase any of these two Smartphone between now and June, will get 1 TB or 1024 GB of One Drive storage. Additionally, Lumia 640 XL will offer cashback deals from Olacabs and Mobiwik.
