Micromax's Yu to Launch World's Most Powerful Phone This Diwali


BANGALORE: Yu, subsidiary of India’s Micromax, is all set to launch the most powerful phone ever. Yutopia, being worked under the Project Achilles, is the new smartphone to get launched this Diwali, reports Gizbot.

The handset YU 5050 which was leaked through the benchmark test lately is said to be the real beast as per Rahul Sharma, Yu founder.

The handset was spotted on Antutu and Zauba benchmark listing. The leaked benchmark reports reveal that the Yutopia will come with 5.2-inch display, Android 5.1.1 operating system, 1.5 GHz octa core Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset, an internal memory of 32GB, 4GB RAM, 8MP front snapper and 21MP rear camera.

It is also likely to come in two variants -3GB RAM with 1080p and 4GB with 2K resolution display.

"This would be a no-compromise smartphone, with the best specifications and the highest benchmark rating," the source says.

It is also said to appear in markets within the price range of 20,295 to 20,752.

If the leaked results are true then this phone would mark the costliest launch from the company till date. The previous handsets of the company- Yureka Plus, Yu Yureaka,  Yunique and Yuphoria have been launched under 10,000.
