Micromax Canvas A1 Android One: Superior Experience With Humble Specs

BANGALORE: The Micromax Canvas A1 is a stunning and exclusive device that is built like any other finest phones in the market, reports tech firstpost.

It is available in white and gold colors and has a rubberized smooth finish on the back which gives a solid feel. The front has a similar cut-out for the phone receiver and a camera next to it. The hardware buttons are clustered on the right side.

The device comes with a 4.5-inch WVGA display and has a USB port and a noise-cancellation mic on the bottom. In terms of performance, Canvas A1 has a high standard presentation and it has good audio chops, even though there’s just one speaker on the back. The speaker is round in shape which is enough for the music to fill up the room.

The Canvas A1 comes with pre-installed applications like Amazon, Askme, Hike, and MLive. The battery life is good enough, lasting up to 18 hours.

The biggest drawback with the Android One devices right now is that you cannot use the camera without an external microSD card, but it is worth for the price tag. The camera captures images fast, but needs a right glare for perfect shots.

There are several camera apps such as Lens Blur, Photospheres, Panoramas, along with HDR mode, exposure adjustment, WB adjustment and more. This is a lot of settings in a phone which is available only for Rs 6,500.

In terms of usability, stability, and durability, Canvas A1 is the best smartphone manufactured by the company, being a good budget phone for the users.
