Bangalore: Micromax launched its first Funbook tablet earlier this year and this 7-inch Android 4.0 (ICS) tablet has been success story among student and youth market as it comes preloaded with educational and entertaining content. Now the company is launching a bigger version, a 10.1-inch screen tablet which is dubbed as Funbook Pro.
Funbook Pro was spotted at Micomax website which states that the company is ready to launch this new device and we can expect to see it in the stores sometime next month.
The Funbook Pro is powered by a 1.2GHz single-core processor, dual Mali 400 graphics processor, 1GB of RAM and works on Android 4.0 (ICS) operating system. The device sports a 10.1-inch display with 1024x600 pixels resolution, front facing VGA quality camera, 8GB of built-in storage memory and expandable memory up to 32GB using a microSD card.
When compared to the earlier version the Funbook Pro has better display and RAM. The new device lacks cellular data connectivity, but it has Wi-Fi connectivity. The price detail of the device is not disclosed yet.
