Mercury Launched mTab Neo 2 in India


Bangalore: Mercury launched its fourth generation tablet mTab Neo 2 in India at an affordable price of 14,999.

The mTab Neo 2, the fourth generation tablet from the company is powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 dual core processor, 512MB RAM and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The company says the tablet will be upgraded to Android 4.0 in coming months.

The tablet sports a 7 inch multi-touch capacitive screen, has 8 GB internal storage- expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card and dual camera. As it predecessor the tablet also comes with SIM functionality for voice calls and text messaging. For connectivity it has 3G, Wi-Fi, HDMI, Bluetooth and GPS.

Mercury’s previous tablets couldn’t make a big hit in the market, but the mTab Neo 2 is expected to be a huge hit, because of its dual core processor and by being an Android tablet under 15,000.
