Meizu Posts Teasers, To Debut In India With M1 Note

BANGALORE: The Chinese Smartphone makers have given a whole new dimension to the gadget market in India and there is no reason why we can’t see even stiffer competition in the years to come. Sighting the success garnered by Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo and Vivo in Indian shores, the Chinese mobile phone startup, Meizu is all set to debut in India with the launch of its Flagship Phablet M1 Note, reports TOI.

Following this announcement, the company took to the social media by launching a teaser on the launch of its flagship phone as well as to mark the entry into Indian market. However, the company like its many other competitors has kept the consumers guessing by not revealing any information related to the launch date and pricing of its products for the Indian market.

In terms of the specifications, The phablet houses a 5.5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 full HD display and is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64 bit processor and 2GB RAM. The phone is available in 16GB and 32GB storage variants, but surprising to see the phablet doesn't feature a microSD card.

Other key specifications, include a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The phone runs Flyme OS 4.0, based on Android 4.4 KitKat. In terms of connectivity, the Phablet comes with a 4G LTE, dual SIM support, and big 3140 mAh battery to support your battery woos.

Having already launched in China in December, the Phablet may come as a sub 10,000 Smartphone and will be available in green, pink, blue, yellow and white colours, similar to that of the iPhone 5c.
