The phones comprise of basic, low to mid- range handsets and come with decent specifications like multimedia features and social networking integration. The Y10, Y11 and Y21 models fall in the low-end range. The most basic of them is the Y10. The price of each upgraded model increases from the last one. The mid range phones consist of the models Y20, Y22, Y30 and Y50. Available in the same price range as the Y10 model ( 1595), is Micromax's X118 model ( 1500). A similar product in the market is Micromax's Q5 but it is priced slightly higher than Y50 at 5100. The new range of phones boast of features like large LCD display, high quality wireless FM, camera, high efficiency battery for extra long standby and talktime, dual SIM, expandable memory up to 8GB, Bluetooth, and torch light. These phones also support multiple languages. "Consumer response to quality Indian brands has been overwhelming in the last 12 months which has encouraged well entrenched and reputed consumer brands like us to make significant investments in this space to secure long term leadership in this domain," shared Rakesh Malhotra, Founder and Chairman, Wynn Telecom Ltd. The handsets from the new series of dual SIM phones are a mix of utility, multimedia and phones. The company also plans to launch higher-end 3G phones costing up to 9,000 by September this year, Malhotra said. Wynn Telecom aspires to become one among the top three cell-phone manufacturers in India. It plans to entice the young Indian buyers and has specially included designs in its products keeping in mind its target group.
