Las Vegas: A China based company Optoelectronics has launched Light Pad, which is a tiny projector for Smartphone, which turns your smartphone in to a laptop.
Light Pad is a pico projector with a full sized keyboard and a track pad. You just have to connect your smartphone through a cable and the device provides all the functionality of a laptop virtually on an 11 inch high contrast rare projection screen.
The Light Pad sports 854x480 pixels of resolution provides a good quality display even though it is slight less than the average smartphone screens resolution. This device comes along with a keyboard and a battery that can power this projector up to 5 hours.
Light Pad can produce up to 60 inch display in front projection mode which can be used as a big screen projectors for presentations in meeting, to see videos and TV viewing and also gaming. It supports all the smartphone platforms like iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry with HDMI ports. The Light Pad will be available in the second quarter of this year and the company has not declared the price yet.
