Lenovo to introduce the 7 inch tablet, Ideapad A1-0

Bangalore: Lenovo makes news again, with another tablet device. The company has always come up with well known range of electronic products. Lenovo announced the launch of a tablet codenamed as Ideapad P1 in India. The Ideapad is to introduce a range of tablets from 10-inch Ideapad K1 to the 7 inch Ideapad A1-07. Ideapad has already swept off the U.S. market and is ready to achieve similar success in India. Some pictures of the A1-07 has been leaked by blurrywildonline. Lenovo is soon going 2 reveal the 7-inch Ideapad which is to be followed by Honeycomb OS enabled Thinkpad. The Indian market can look forward to this device as this will supposedly be a tablet that will provide standard Android OS functionality at an average price range. This Ideapad, A1-07, has looks unlike its sibling, the K1. It sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen along with three physical buttons. It will apparently support a 1024x600 pixel resolution. It will possess TI OMAP3621 processor and support GPS and 3G. A standard MicroSD card can also be in the slot. The Ideapad would support 3700 mAh battery. The feature that will make this tablet in demand is that it would support a 3G SIM slot. This means that you can just insert your 3G SIM and be connected to the net. It also supports a front and back camera. It will most probably run on a Gingerbread OS, unlike K1. While the K1 was priced at $500 (22,000 approx), one can expect to avail the A1-07 at a much cheaper price.
