Le Max2 By LeEco - The Best-In-Class Snapdragon 820 Smartphone

BENGALURU: Over the last few years, multi-tasking while on-the-go has come to define the lifestyle of millennials. From 24*7 access to social media, to consuming audio-video content to responding to emails the list is endless. It is therefore imperative that smartphones, which make this multi-tasking possible, are backed by powerful processors. In addition to demanding specs that are best-in-breed, users now prefer smartphones that promise a powerful processor too. Qualcomm®'s recently launched Snapdragon™ 820 processor is the fastest produced so far by the company.

While most of the current generation of flagship smartphones pack in this processor, there are some that bundle more than just Snapdragon™ 820. One such phone is the recently launched Le Max2 by LeEco. A flagship in the absolute sense, Le Max2 has received an unprecedented response from users in its first flash sale held on June 28, 2016. This can clearly be attributed to some of the clear differentiators of the Superphone that sets it apart from its peers, some of them being -

1. Qualcomm®'s Snapdragon™ 820 processor

The new 14nm Snapdragon™ 820 from Qualcomm® has a completely different architecture which comprises of the, Kryo CPU. The Kryo CPU offers 2 times the performance and efficiency when compared to the previous generation Snapdragon™ 810. In addition to this the Snapdragon™ 820 with Adreno™ 530 also offers significant improvement in battery life.

Snapdragon™ 820 is a quad-core, not an octa-core. As per Qualcomm, the reduced number of cores do not adversely impact the performance of an Android smartphone, as the majority of the apps on this platform are still not optimized and they do not need an 8 core smartphone. The Snapdragon™ 820 processor can be clocked to the tunes of 2.2GHz.

2. Brace the future

While it is good to future proof yourself, that should not be the only criteria for picking a next generation smartphone. The Superphone offers best in class audio experience through its patented technology CDLA. It is the world's first Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology smartphone, which enables users to enjoy digital lossless audio.

LeEco has opted for a USB Type-C port instead of a usual 3.5mm audio jack on the LeEco Le Max2. The Type-C Port is a future proof technology that brands offer selectively in their high end devices. The Le Max2 also supports Quick Charge 3.0, which enables users to super charge their phones super quick. With just 5 minutes of charging you can get a whopping 3.5 hours of talktime.

3. Content

LeEco is offering content free along with this phone which customers can enjoy over a 5.7-inch 4K (2560x1440 Pixels) display. In addition to this, Le Max 2 also offers Quad HD resolution..

Coming back to the specs, users have the option of picking up the LeEco Le Max2 with either 32GB or 64GB of storage. Its 64GB variant comes with a generous 6GB of RAM while the 32GB variant makes do with 4GB. LeEco also runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EUI 5.8.

The phone sports a powerful 21-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera. The rear camera supports PDAF, optical image stabilization (OIS) and has 4K video recording capabilities.
