Lava Unveils Its Budget Friendly Phablets;Lava Iris 505 & 506q

Bangalore: The Indian handset maker Lava is trickling down into the budget friendly market with two new Android devices; Lava Iris 505 and Iris 506q. Both devices fall into phablet category with its 5-inch display and powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Iris 505 is runs on a 1.2GHz dual core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM. The in-built memory storage of 4GB expandable upto 32GB with the Micro-SD card slot, providing ample space for all downloads.

The device comes pre-installed with a plethora of Google mobile services and access to Play store. The 5MP primary camera with LED flash provides crystal clear images and the VGA front camera assists in video calling. Lava Iris 505 supports dual SIM calling and is priced at 9000.

Unlike Iris 505, 506q is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512 MB of RAM and 4GB in-built memory. With the help of the Micro-SD card slot, memory can be expanded upto 32GB. Iris 506q spots an 8 MP rear snapper and a VGA front unit, making it ideal for photography. A 2000mAh battery pack supplies power to the gadget which comes with a price tag of 11,700.
