Lava To Launch The 'Fastest Ever Smartphone' On March 14

Bangalore: Indian manufacturer Lava is trying to steal the show as the Smartphone maker is all set to unveil its Intel Powered Xolo in Goa, on the same day as Samsung Galaxy S IV will make its debut.

According to the company’s claims, Lava’s Xolo will be the ‘fastest Smartphone ever’ with an Intel chip inside. But TOI has reported that the upcoming Lava Xolo will not have the new Intel Clover Trail+ chip. Instead it will be powered by a 2GHz IntelMedfieldZ2460 processor that powers the Motorola Razr i.

So far in the UK, Razr i has been doing well against rivals. The chipset enables the 2 GHz single core processor to work as a dual core CPU which is called hyper threading. It supports Android 4.1 Jellybean, coupled with a 2GB RAM. Maximum expandable storage can be up to 64GB. There will be an 8 mega pixel primary camera and a 1.3 mega pixel secondary camera with this Smartphone chip.

The upcoming device is said to be Lava’s flagship and will be priced between 20,000 and 30,000 as TOI reports. The Smartphone will compete against devices like Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos, HTC Desire X, Motorola Atrix 2, HTC One X and Sony Xperia P.

With rumors around the corner, of Lava not showcasing the Intel’s CloverTrail+ Smartphone chip,, Lenovo K900 will be the first Smartphone coming with this processor, probably in the second quarter of this year.
